- Installation Instructions:1. Remove the existing rivets. Drill eight 5/16" dia. holes at the center of each of the eight dimples of existing rivets, on the front of the cover. This will casue the front-cover, clutch-plate & piston to become separated.2. Install 8 rivets through captive clutch assembly, from the front side of the cover. Peen rivets to secure assembly to cover. In order to provide proper clearance, peen rivet head height to .110" or shorter.3. Weld rivet heads on front side of the cover to ensure a proper seal.
